WICHITA, KAS. — Jon Nash has been promoted to leader of Cargill’s North America protein business, effective March 1.
Mr. Nash began his career with Cargill in 1998 as an assistant controller. During his more than 20 years with the company, he has held roles of increasing responsibility, including vice-president of operations and general manager and controller of Cargill’s Fresno, Calif., beef facility. In June 2017, Mr. Nash was appointed to his most recent position as president of Cargill’s Protein food service business.
“Cargill is innovating the future of protein,” said Brian Sikes, corporate senior vice-president for Cargill. “Jon is a results-driven leader. He puts people first, embraces technology and is a forward thinker — his collaborative approach will help continue our growth.”
Succeeding Mr. Nash as the new president of Cargill’s Protein food service business is Misty High, current vice-president and Walmart corporate account leader for Cargill’s Protein business. Ms. High joined Cargill in 2005, advancing through various roles, including assistant vice-president of beef marketing and assistant vice-president of beef food service sales.
“She has a strong track record of building strategic partnerships with food service and retail customers and has advanced joint efforts on sustainability,” Cargill said.
