ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — Unilever P.L.C. is ushering its Magnum ice cream brand into the plant-based age with new Magnum non-dairy frozen dessert bars.
“The new Magnum non-dairy bars deliver the indulgence expected from the chocolate ice cream brand synonymous with decadence,” Unilever said. “Non-dairy fans can now experience the signature Magnum ‘crack’ with each and every bite.”
Available in classic and almond varieties, the non-dairy bars are certified vegan by Vegan Action. The bars have a creamy vanilla-flavored base made with coconut oil and pea protein encased in non-dairy Belgian chocolate.
“We’re thrilled to bring our next-level chocolate to the vegan and dairy-free market,” said Leslie Miller, marketing director of ice cream for Unilever. “This is our first launch in plant-based indulgence, and we can’t wait to share with Magnum ice cream fans.”
