ERLANGER, KY. — Wild Flavors, Inc. has acquired Alfrebro, L.L.C. The company, which has an office in Monroe Ohio, makes natural extracts and aroma chemicals and has proprietary technologies.
“Alfrebro’s business will provide improved raw material access while strengthening our existing flavor and extract capabilities,” said Michael Ponder, global chief executive officer of Wild Flavors GmbH, which is based in Zug, Switzerland, and has an office in Erlanger.
Vince Macciocchi, chief operating officer of Wild Flavors, Inc. in Erlanger, said, “The opportunities with Alfrebro represent vertical integration, access to new flavor ingredients, increased manufacturing capabilities and additional cost savings.”
