ATLANTA — Natalia P. Franco has been named to the newly created role of chief marketing officer at McAlister’s Deli, a Focus Brands subsidiary. In her new role, Ms. Franco will oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies and programs. She will be tasked with increasing the brand’s relevance from a positioning, menu innovation and digital guest experience standpoint.

Ms. Franco joins McAlister’s Deli after launching her own brand marketing consulting group, BrandMark Global L.L.C. Before that, she was chief brand and strategy officer at California Pizza Kitchen, where she led strategy, brand repositioning, advertising, brand messaging, consumer insights, culinary development and public relations. Previously, she was senior vice-president of marketing and culinary for IHOP and executive vice-president and worldwide chief marketing officer for Burger King. She also has held various global leadership roles for The Coca-Cola Co., Pillsbury Co., General Mills and Unilever.
