NEW YORK — G Fuel Energy Formula is launching its first ready-to-drink (R.-T.-D.) energy beverage. The energy drink is available in the brand’s four most popular flavors: FaZeBerry, Blue Ice, Sour Cherry and Rainbow Sherbet. Each flavor is sugar free and has zero calories.

G Fuel said its new lineup features a proprietary combination of key ingredients, including 300 mg of PurCaf organic caffeine, vitamins B6 and B12, 100% pure L-Theanine and amino acid L-Tyrosine. Other ingredients include S7, a blend of seven plant-based ingredients and goBHB, a ready-to-use ketone body.

The G Fuel energy formula was developed in 2012 and has since become popular among the esports (professional video gaming) community. Several players and teams have partnered with the brand to create their own flavors. The company said its R.-T.-D. energy drink enhances gaming ability due to increased focus, energy and improved reaction time, without the crash associated with sugary energy drinks.

“For years our customers and the gaming community have been begging us to release a ready-to-drink version of our energy formula powder,” said Cliff Morgan, founder of G Fuel. “Today, that becomes a reality.”

Ready-to-drink G Fuel energy beverages are available direct to consumer through the company’s web site.

The launch of G Fuel R.-T.-D. energy drinks follows in the footsteps of Mtn Dew Amp Game Fuel, an energy beverage aimed at gamers launched in December 2018 by PepsiCo, Inc. Featuring a formula that is vitamin charged and caffeine boosted, the beverages include ingredients shown to improve accuracy and alertness for “an enhanced gaming experience,” PepsiCo said. Flavors include Charged Cherry Burst, Charged Berry Blast, Charged Tropical Strike and Charged Original Dew.
