IRVING, TEXAS — 7-Eleven, Inc. is introducing 7-Select Replenish, a new isotonic sports drink that is free from artificial sweeteners and high-fructose corn syrup.
Sweetened with stevia and sugar, the electrolyte hydration beverage provides 100% of the daily values of vitamins A, E, niacin (B3), B5 and pantothenic acid (B6) per 12-oz serving, 7-Eleven said. 7-Select Replenish contains 15 grams of sugar and 60 calories per serving and comes in four flavors: cucumber mint, guava splash, lemonade and orange mango.
“As with all 7-Eleven private brand products, we wanted to make sure our new sport drink would stand out in quality, taste, uniqueness and value,” said Joe DePinto, president and chief executive officer of 7-Eleven. “We benchmarked against the best and added differentiated attributes that we know our customers are seeking.”
The launch of 7-Select Replenish is the second new beverage debut from 7-Eleven this summer. In late June, the company introduced Quake, a sugar-free performance energy drink that contains electrolytes, creatine, COQ10 and branched-chain amino acids. Varieties include original, orange fusion, tropical lemon and berry blast.
“We listen to our customers, stay ahead of the latest trends and offer refreshing drinks you can’t find anywhere else,” said Tim Cogil, senior director of private brands for 7-Eleven. “7-Select Replenish has received great reviews and is an effective thirst-quencher whether recovering from a tough workout or just needing to cool down on a hot summer day … or any day.”
