BUFFALO, N.Y. — Rich Products Corp. has acquired Nashville, Tenn.-based Christie Cookie Co., a privately-owned maker of gourmet cookies. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1983, Christie Cookie operates one baking plant and has a strong direct-to-consumer platform that includes e-commerce and a corporate gifting program. In addition, Christie Cookie owns two retail bakery shops in Nashville, with an additional location in Bridgestone Arena, home of the Nashville Predators hockey team. The company produces approximately 100 million cookies per year.
