CHICAGO — McDonald’s is brewing its first new McCafe holiday flavor in more than five years. The new Cinnamon Cookie Latte is made with cinnamon flavor, milk and 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified espresso. Topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon, the beverage is available hot or iced.

“We were inspired by our customers’ excitement for the holidays when crafting our Cinnamon Cookie Latte, a new and limited-time flavor that evokes the warm, cheerful feelings of the season,” said Mike Lingo, chef for McDonald’s. “Our latest beverage innovation combines the captivating aroma and flavor of cinnamon that evokes the holiday feeling in us all. We’re excited for our customers to get a taste.”

Additionally, McDonald’s is bringing back its McCafe Donut Sticks with the addition of a new chocolate sauce. Sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and served warm, the Donut Sticks are served by the half-dozen or dozen during breakfast hours and now come with a chocolate icing sauce for dipping.

“We’re giving customers more of the goodness they crave and pairing the return of Donut Sticks with a new decadent chocolate sauce,” Mr. Lingo said. “We always let our customers be the guide, and a dipping sauce was highly requested when they asked for an accompaniment to go with the popular cinnamon treat. Our rich and delicious chocolate sauce is the perfect pairing for our Donut Sticks to sweeten up the holiday season.”

McDonald’s new McCafe Cinnamon Cookie Latte and Donut Sticks with chocolate sauce will be available for a limited time throughout the holiday season beginning Nov. 6.
