LOUISVILLE, KY. — KFC is introducing a new format for its fried chicken: Kentucky Fried Wings. Released with the return of football season, the wings join KFC’s lineup as a permanent menu item.

Kentucky Fried Wings are available unsauced or tossed in a choice of three sauces: Nashville hot, buffalo or honey barbecue. The unsauced variety contains 80 calories per piece, Nashville hot contains 130 calories per piece, buffalo contains 100 calories per piece and honey barbecue contains 100 calories per piece.

The bone-in wings are “crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and fried to perfection using KFC’s proprietary process, eliminating wait times,” the company said.

“You would be hard pressed to find hot and fresh wings without the wait anywhere else,” said Andrea Zahumensky, chief marketing officer for KFC U.S. “Whether you are Team Nashville Hot or Team Honey BBQ, our Kentucky Fried Wings are available on demand, revolutionizing your gameday dining experience.”

New Kentucky Fried Wings are available in four quantities and price points: 6 pieces for $5, 12 pieces for $9.99, 24 pieces for $18.99, and 48 pieces for $36.99, which is available via delivery only.
