DENVER — Phoenix Dugger has been named corporate social responsibility manager at Ardent Mills. The newly created position builds on the company’s environmental and local community initiatives, which include new recycling standards, facility upgrades and partnerships to support farm-level sustainability.

Mr. Dugger began as an intern at Ardent Mills in 2016. He worked within the supply chain division, most recently as sustainability lead. In his new role, he will be tasked with conducting research, creating plans and building relationships with partner organizations.

He received a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and economics at Colorado State University.

“We have made great strides in the last five years growing our sustainability and charitable efforts,” said Daniel P. Dye, chief executive officer of Ardent Mills. “This newly developed position is key as we continue to identify promising opportunities to make a difference.”
