WASHINGTON – Siloam Springs, Ark.-based Simmons Prepared Foods Inc. is recalling approximately 2,071,397 lbs of poultry products that may be contaminated with metal, according to the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The problem was discovered by Simmons establishments during further processing. The poultry items were produced between Oct. 21, 2019 and Nov. 4, 2019. 

The U.S.D.A. provided a spreadsheet that contains the entire list of products here.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-1949,” “P- 486” or “P-5837” inside the U.S.D.A. mark of inspection. These items were shipped to institutions in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
