WESTPORT, CONN. — Walt Zola has been named vice-president of sales at Newman’s Own, Inc. He will oversee all sales in the United States and Canada.

Mr. Zola brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role. He previously was vice-president of grocery, drug, mass, club and natural sales at Blue Buffalo Co. Before that, he was senior vice-president of sales at Aloha, a plant-based protein powder and nutrition bar brand. He held several executive positions at Cadbury, including director of national retail operations and director of national food and club. Following Cadbury’s acquisition by Kraft Foods, he led Mondelez International’s U.S. drug channel as vice-president of sales.

Newman’s Own sells more than 300 salad dressings, pasta sauces, frozen pizzas, salsas, refrigerated drinks, cookies, barbecue sauces, snacks and pet treats internationally. The company donates 100% of the profits and royalties from sales of its products to charity.
