PURCHASE, N.Y. — PepsiCo, Inc.’s Gatorade brand is launching its first caffeinated beverage: Bolt24 Energize.

Containing 50 to 75 mg of caffeine per bottle, Bolt24 Energize also delivers electrolytes from watermelon and sea salt and 100% of the daily value of vitamins A, C, B3, B5 and B6. The beverage will debut in early 2020 in strawberry-lemon, orange-passion fruit and cherry-lime flavors. The caffeinated drink will retail for $2.19 per 16.9-oz bottle.

Bolt24 Energize is the second offering in the Bolt24 platform, joining Bolt24 Antioxidant, which PepsiCo introduced in July as a beverage geared toward the athlete “off the field,” the company said. The product’s name was inspired by the need to keep athletes in shape 24 hours a day.
