MOSS LANDING, CALIF. — Sweet Earth Foods, a subsidiary of Nestle S.A., is debuting plant-based, heat-and-eat wraps containing prebiotics, probiotics and at least four grams of fiber per serving.

Sweet Earth POGOs (power-on-the-go) snacks are made with ingredients such as chia and pumpkin seeds, sweet potato, beet, banana and sunflower seed butter. All six varieties derive their colors from vegetables, fruits and spices.

The blackberry POGO features a blueberry and chia filling wrapped in a chia and sweet potato crust that is topped with chia seeds. Each 230-calorie wrap provides 13 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber.

The chocolate POGO contains sun nut butter, cocoa and banana in a cocoa whole wheat wrap topped with sunflower seeds and flax seeds. Each 290-calorie wrap contains 14 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber.

The chai POGO includes sun nut butter, cocoa and chai in a whole wheat pastry wrap with toasted pumpkin seeds. Each 290-calorie wrap provides 13 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber.

The dulce POGO features banana and dulce de leche wrapped in a cocoa whole wheat crust topped with puffed quinoa. Each 300-calorie wrap contains 13 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber.

The figgy POGO features a fig and tart cherry filling wrapped in a tart cherry and beet crust topped with oats and chia seeds. Each 230-calorie wrap provides 15 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber.

The lemon poppy POGO contains blueberries and chia seeds wrapped in a lemon poppy wrap topped with poppy seeds. Each 220-calorie wrap contains 13 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber.

“Sweet Earth POGOs are an entirely different and delicious snacking category — not to be equated to frozen pastries of the past,” said Kelly Swette, chief executive officer of Sweet Earth Foods. “We’re excited for people to experience this new, convenient and energizing snack, which supports today’s modern, active lifestyle.”

Sweet Earth POGOs are available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.29 per wrap.
