NEW YORK — Frozen novelty maker Chloe’s is expanding beyond fruit bars to launch Chloe’s Oatmilk Pops, a line of non-dairy treats inspired by classic ice cream flavors. The desserts are the first oat milk pops on the market, according to the company.

Chloe’s chose to innovate with oat milk because of its environmental benefits, Chloe’s said, as well as its creamy nature. Sweetened with cane sugar, the pops are dairy-free, plant-based, gluten-free and Non-GMO Project verified. Flavors include raspberry chip, mint chip and salted caramel.

The raspberry chip pops contain 100 calories, 13 grams of sugar and 1 gram of protein per pop; the mint chip variety contain 120 calories, 16 grams of sugar and 2 grams of protein per pop; and the salted caramel flavor contains 110 calories, 15 grams of sugar and 2 grams of protein per pop.

“With our new Oatmilk Pops we are diving deeper into decadence, while remaining true to our core value of using simple ingredients,” said Chloe Epstein, president and co-founder of Chloe’s. “Oat milk is rich and creamy and has quickly become one of the most popular dairy alternatives because it works so well in a variety of applications. There are many oat milk products on the market that add artificial ingredients, but we’ve been working to perfect a pop recipe with oat milk as the base that still upholds our guardrails of ingredient integrity and we’re thrilled with the result. We have no doubt these will be a consumer favorite.”

Chloe’s Oatmilk Pops retail for $4.99 to $5.99 per box of four pops.
