MINNEAPOLIS — International Dairy Queen, Inc. is no stranger to frozen treat and ice cream innovation, as the restaurant chain has debuted myriad new milkshakes, sundaes, cones, Blizzards and slushes over the past 12 months. The company even made its first foray into dairy alternatives with the launch of a Non-Dairy Dilly Bar.

Dairy Queen’s epicenter of innovation is its Blizzard menu, which gained 16 new variants this year. The lineup has included collaborations with Mondelez International, Inc., The Hershey Co. and Mars, Inc., such as the Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard, Heath Caramel Brownie Blizzard, Peanut Butter Pie Made with Snickers Blizzard and the Sour Patch Kids Blizzard.
