KANSAS CITY — Candy makers are creating new sweet treats ranging from green peanut butter cups to dual-textured gummi worms to gluten-free licorice.

The Hershey Co. is unleashing four new treats for Halloween: Reese’s Franken-Cups milk chocolate and green crème cups filled with peanut butter, Kit Kat Witch’s Brew marshmallow flavored wafers dipped in green crème, Hershey’s Vampire Kisses milk chocolate drops filled with strawberry-flavored crème, and Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Crème Fangs mini cookies and cream bars that feature a pair of fangs on each pip.

“Halloween isn't complete without a Reese's, Kit Kat or Hershey's candy bar, but this year we have something brewing that will take the season to the next level,” said Eric Bowers, senior brand manager of seasonal products at Hershey. “We have four new treats that put a spooky spin on our classics. Between our Reese’s Franken-Cups, Kit Kat Witch's Brew, Hershey's Kisses Vampire chocolates and Hershey's Cookies 'N' Crème Fangs, we have something for all our Halloween fans this year.”
