FORT MILLS, SC. — Hygiene and cleaning company Diversey launched Clean and Ready, a program designed to respond to new demands for cleanliness as facilities worldwide begin reopening after closing due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The program launched globally across a range of sectors, including foodservice, hospitality, retail and offices. It certifies and verifies participants in three areas: hygiene protocols, food safety and COVID safety.
Diversey’s hygiene guidelines were designed to minimize risk for guests through a two-step cleaning and disinfection process that uses the company’s patented AHP technology, which delivers hospital-grade disinfection.
Its food safety program is supported by the Hygiene Academy, a cloud-based e-learning training system focused on outbreak prevention.
The COVID safety program was developed for companies to ensure compliance with local health authorities and government policies. It puts a special focus on people’s behaviors with the goal of protecting staff by limiting the spread of infection, Diversey said.
Businesses that match Diversey’s program requirements may display the Clean and Ready shield. Companies that enroll as a member of the Clean and Ready program will undergo periodic audits for independent verification.
