GENEVA, ILL. — Jeremy Thompson, chief operating officer of FONA International, Inc., was elevated to president of the flavor solutions company.
Mr. Thompson has 20 years of food industry experience. He joined FONA as executive vice president of revenue generation in 2018 and was named COO the following year. Previously, he was global director of product management, natural sweeteners, and strategic marketing manager for Splenda Sucralose at Tate & Lyle. He also spent two years at Givaudan and six years at Archer Daniels Midland Co.
In his expanded role, he will be responsible for growing the business and overseeing FONA’s executive leaders and sales teams. He will retain the COO title.
