DALLAS — Borden Dairy Co. is spicing up the dairy case with a new line of Creamy Salsas made with light sour cream.

Borden Creamy Salsa is available in three flavors: mild, hot, and fire roasted.

The mild and hot salsa dips are made with tomatoes, onions, red and green bell peppers, garlic, cilantro, parsley, jalapeño, lime and light sour cream. The fire roasted variety adds turmeric and smoky flavor to the mix. All three flavors feature 25 calories, 1 gram of protein and 1 gram of sugar per two-tablespoon serving.

“Borden Creamy Salsa is a truly unique product offering, with no other salsa/sour cream combination currently offered on a wide scale,” said Mike Arsenault, national sales and marketing director for Borden Dairy. “With Borden Creamy Salsa, you get a fresh, delicious, one-of-a-kind snack your family will love along with the trusted name of Borden.”

Borden Creamy Salsa comes in 12-oz tubs for a suggested retail price of $2.99 to $3.49.
