MONTFORT, WIS. – Schuman Cheese’s plant-based banner Vevan is introducing Vevan Snax snack packs, featuring cubes of dairy-free, plant-based cheese paired with dried fruit and roasted nuts.

Available in two varieties, Vevan Snax are vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and non-GMO. Both options contain 160 calories and 2 grams of protein per pack.

Vevan Lemon Poppyseed Mozza Snax includes bite-size cubes of Vevan Mozza infused with a hint of lemon and poppyseeds, paired with dried blueberries and roasted, salted cashews.

Vevan P’Jack Snax contains bite-size cubes of Vevan P’Jack paired with tart dried cranberries and smoked almonds.

“Vevan tastes great in recipes, but it’s also great on its own, and that’s the premise of Snax,” said Keith Schuman, Vevan business unit lead. “There are few, if any, plant-based options for specific eating occasions like casual snacking, so it’s especially exciting to share Vevan in a format that lets plant-based eaters enjoy those moments more completely.”

Vevan Snax come in 1.48-oz packs and retail for around $1.50 to $2.50 each.

In addition to new Vevan Snax, Vevan offers Ched, Mozza and P’Jack varieties in Shred and Melts formats at retailers nationwide.
