MINNEAPOLIS — Dairy Queen is launching the $5 Buck Lunch, a value offering that includes the choice of a quarter-pound GrillBurger with cheese, three-piece chicken strips or a chili cheese dog, served with medium fries, a medium drink and a small sundae. For $1 more, customers may upgrade the sundae to a small Blizzard Treat.

“In this current economic climate, consumers are looking for value, particularly at lunch,” said Barry Westrum, executive vice-president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation. “Only at Dairy Queen restaurants can you enjoy a $5 Buck Lunch that comes with a treat.”

The deal will be offered daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at participating locations beginning April 1.
