TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — Nutritional Growth Solutions, Ltd., the owner of the Healthy Height brand of nutritional shakes, has acquired the KidzShake brand from Ausmerica Wellness Services, LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

KidzShake’s nutrient-dense products were designed to fill the nutrition gaps in children caused by an incomplete or unbalanced diet. The shakes feature organic protein, vitamins and minerals, probiotics, digestive enzymes, omega-3 fatty acids and fiber and contain no added sugar or artificial sweeteners. They are gluten-free, nut-free, lactose-free and casein-free. The vegan version of KidzShake is powered by pumpkin, hemp and pea protein and is enriched with fruit and vegetable powders plus probiotics.

“KidzShake offers a variety of high-quality nutritional drinks for children, including a vegan option,” said Liron Fendell, managing director and chief executive officer of Nutritional Growth Solutions. “It is a perfect fit for our portfolio. In the backdrop of the plant-based trend there is strong recognition that children on vegan diets are in greater need for nutritional supplementation. The market for pediatric vegan-based nutritional supplements will be one of the fastest growing sectors over the next three to five years.”

Nutritional Growth Solutions also announced it signed a vendor agreement with US medical distributor Independent Medical Co-op, Inc., for the US distribution of Healthy Height, a protein shake clinically shown to improve children’s height. The product contains 12 grams of whey protein and 350 mg of the essential amino acid arginine per serving. It is low in sugar and sodium and is free from gluten, soy and GMOs.
