LYNNFIELD, MASS. — Robbie Lock has been named sustainability manager at HP Hood LLC.
He joins the company from 3BL Media, where he led a peer-to-peer network of sustainability professionals from 30 companies, including The Hershey Co., Yum! Brands, Adobe and Boeing. Before that he was sustainability manager at VF Corp., where he managed a Starbucks and McDonald’s collaboration on sustainable paper cups. He also was a sustainability consultant for the NYC Department of Education and senior sustainability consultant for Context Group.
In his new role, Mr. Lock will focus on optimizing facilities, sourcing responsibly and reducing HP Hood’s climate impact.
“Robbie will be a key player in our commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, water use and achieve zero waste in our operations,” said Dave Crowley, senior director of environmental health and safety at HP Hood. “His experience working in renewable energy, waste and corporate sustainability will help advance Hood’s existing sustainability efforts and develop a new, long-term strategy.
