SAN BERNARDINO, CALIF. – Country Archer Provisions is spicing up its snack lineup with a new grass-fed beef jerky flavor – Fuego. The flavor blends red and white pepper, chipotle chilis and chili powder.

The Fuego flavor is also available in new Footlong Meat Sticks, which additionally come in original and teriyaki varieties. Country Archer's Footlong snacks provide 15 grams of protein per serving and are made with grass-fed beef and natural pork. The 12-inch sticks were specifically created for convenience stores, the company said.

“Many convenience shoppers are no longer looking for just a quick on-the-go bite,” said Eugene Kang, co-founder and chief executive officer of Country Archer Provisions. “They’re seeking healthier choices and real food – we wanted to combine our strength in ingredient integrity with flavors and formats that are driving category growth in the C-store channel by delivering options that speak specifically to the unique needs of this shopper. In an age where our world is increasingly connected, the need for sustainable snacks is increasing and helping to drive healthier lifestyles.”

Country Archer products are made with USDA-inspected, grass-fed and -finished, pasture-raised beef and all-natural and antibiotic-free pork. The company's offerings are free of artificial preservatives, nitrates, nitrites, MSG and gluten.

The new Fuego Beef Jerky comes in 2.5-oz pouches for a suggested retail price of $6.99, while Footlongs are available in 1.8-oz individually wrapped sticks for a suggested retail price of $3.49.
