SPRINGDALE, ARK. – Tyson Foods, Inc. is introducing a trio of new chicken sausages made with 100% natural, no antibiotics ever, chicken.

The new sausages, which are sold in 16-oz packages with five servings each, provide 13 grams of protein per serving with 60% less total fat and 45% less calories than Italian pork sausages, according to the USDA’s standard reference for Italian pork sausage, the company said. Tyson Chicken Sausages are available in three varieties – Hot Italian, Mild Italian and Sweet Italian – and Tyson expects to launch two additional flavors – Spinach Feta and Chicken Apple – later this year.

“We know people are ready to get outside and fire up their grills this summer, and we’re excited to deliver our new chicken sausages just in time,” said Ryan Mills, associate director of innovation for Tyson Foods. “Tyson Chicken Sausage delivers quality, delicious flavors perfect for any recipe with no antibiotics ever.”
