ANKENY, IOWA — Essentia Protein Solutions expanded its multi-species ProFlavor line with the launch of C3307 Chicken Flavor.

Higher in protein, lower in carbs and with no added salt, the savory chicken flavor may be used to develop lower-sodium products that still require an impactful chicken flavor. It may round out flavor profiles in soup, sauce, gravy and meat applications.

Essentia C3307 Chicken Flavor is comprised of 75% protein and naturally occurring collagen. It joins an existing lineup of clean label ProFlavor products that are non-GMO, allergen-free, dairy-free and gluten-free.

“This completely soluble and injectable chicken flavor can be used anywhere from meat processing to savory applications to nutritional products — the uses are endless,” said Mike McGuire, senior national sales account manager at Essentia Protein Solutions. “C3307 can give developers more flexibility to meet stricter sodium requirements while still providing savory, full-bodied chicken notes in their finished applications."
