WHITE PLAINS, NY. — Joey Bergstein has been named president and chief executive officer of Sabra Dipping Co., LLC, a joint venture between PepsiCo, Inc. and the Strauss Group.

He joins the refrigerated dips and spreads company from Seventh Generation, a maker of environmentally friendly cleaning and personal care products, where he was CEO. Before that he was general manager and chief marketing officer at Seventh Generation. He also was senior vice president of Diageo, vice president of marketing and global business development at Molson Coors and a brand manager at Procter & Gamble.

In his new role, Mr. Bergstein will lead Sabra as it expands its range of fresh hummus, guacamole and plant-based dips to meet growing demand for healthy and sustainable products, according to the company. He succeeds Tomer Harpaz, who was named CEO in 2018.

“We are thrilled to welcome Joey to Sabra,” said David Rader, Sabra board chair. “A transformational leader, Joey is uniquely positioned to propel Sabra's growth while ensuring our every success also nourishes human and environmental wellness. During his time at Seventh Generation, Joey set a clear and inspiring mission and built a business with a focus on growth through sustainability. As we launch this transition, we thank Tomer Harpaz for his extraordinary contributions and leadership as CEO during the past three years.”
