LOS ANGELES — Actress Jessica Biel and natural products entrepreneur Jeremy Adams are teaming up to launch Kinderfarms, a new health and wellness brand for families.

The company’s flagship product, Kinderlyte, is an electrolyte-packed hydration solution. Available in both powdered and liquid formats, it offers natural, medical-grade hydration that helps with all forms of dehydration, including illness, sports, travel and a late night out, according to Kinderfarms. Made without artificial sweeteners, colors or flavors, the hydration solution comes in varieties such as raspberry lemonade, orange, wild berry and fruit punch. It currently is available in more than 25,000 stores, including Walgreens, CVS, Target, Rite Aid and Albertsons.

The company also is gearing up to introduce Kindersprout, a plant-based protein shake for children, online next month. Kindersprout packs 8 grams of protein, 28 vitamins and minerals and 3 grams of organic fiber per serving. Available in chocolate and vanilla flavors, the allergen-friendly beverage offers families a safe choice for school lunchboxes.

“As a parent, I want to find products that are effective and also free of unnecessary artificial ingredients,” Ms. Biel said. “That's why I am excited to be a part of the Kinderfarms family, a company that shares the same values when it comes to what we give our kids.”
