MOSS LANDING, CALIF. — Sweet Earth Foods, a subsidiary of Nestle USA, is preparing for consumers’ return to on-the-go lifestyles with a new line of heat-and-eat breakfast bowls.

Inspired by classic savory regional scrambles, Sweet Earth Breakfast Bowls are made with cage-free eggs and provide 17 to 20 grams of protein per bowl. The frozen offerings come in three varieties.

The Protein Lover’s Breakfast Bowl is filled with eggs, plant-based sausage, plant-based bacon, spinach and cheddar cheese. Each bowl contains 280 calories, 20 grams of protein, 13 grams of fat and 3 grams of fiber.

The Southwest Veggie Breakfast Bowl combines eggs with poblano peppers, black beans, cilantro lime brown rice and Monterey jack cheese. Each bowl contains 320 calories, 17 grams of protein, 14 grams of fat and 5 grams of fiber.

The Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Bowl includes eggs, plant-based chipotle seitan, cotija cheese, sweet potatoes, peppers and tortilla strips. Each bowl contains 340 calories, 19 grams of protein, 15 grams of fat and 3 grams of fiber.

Additionally, Sweet Earth has reformulated its vegan deli slices. All three varieties contain 15 grams of plant protein and zero grams of cholesterol.

Sweet Earth Deli SlicesThe Plant-Based Turkey Slices feature oven-roasted flavors and are made with vital wheat gluten, rosemary, sea salt and extra virgin olive oil. Each five-slice serving contains 120 calories and 4 grams of fat.

The Plant-Based Ham Slices feature smoky applewood flavor and are colored with red radish. The slices are made with vital wheat gluten and contain 130 calories and 4 grams of fat per five-slice serving.

The Plant-Based Pepperoni Slices are made with textured pea protein, vital wheat gluten, chickpeas, fennel and a blend of spices. Each four-slice serving contains 110 calories and 2 grams of fat.

Sweet Earth Breakfast Bowls retail for $4.79, while Sweet Earth Deli Slices retail for $6.99. Both are available nationwide at retailers including Whole Foods Market, Walmart, Kroger, Target and Fresh Thyme Market.
