LOS ANGELES — Caulipower is adding breakfast offerings. A new line of heat-and-eat cups combines scrambled eggs with cauliflower and other vegetables.

Varieties include broccoli cheddar, which has broccoli and white cheddar cheese; spicy sesame, with sweet potatoes, corn, carrots, onions, bell peppers, black sesame seeds and spicy seasoning; and Southwest, which has sweet potatoes, black beans, corn, bell peppers, red onions and poblano peppers. The products are gluten-free and formulated without artificial colors, flavors and preservatives, according to the company.

“More than half of Americans (54%) are looking for healthier breakfast options, and convenience is more important than ever,” said Gail Becker, founder and chief executive officer of Caulipower. “Caulipower Breakfast Scrambles fill a gap in a fast-growing grocery category and feed people’s morning hunger with a delicious option in one easy cup. We will keep using the power and magic of vegetables to reinvent all of America’s favorite comfort foods.”

The latest launch marks the brand’s expansion into its seventh product category, following the debut of frozen cauliflower-based pasta earlier this year. Caulipower also offers cauliflower crust pizza, cauliflower breaded chicken tenders, cauliflower tortillas, riced cauliflower cups and sliced sweet potatoes as a bread replacement. Recently, the company added frozen chicken tenders featuring a sweet potato coating.

Caulipower Breakfast Scrambles are available in the freezer aisle at Walmart stores nationwide for $3.99 to $4.99. The products will roll out to additional retailers next year.
