DALLAS — Meal delivery service ICON Meals expanded its product line with the introduction of two protein butter spreads.
Available in white chocolate and blueberry crumble flavors, the gluten-free protein butters provide 10 grams of whey protein per serving. The white chocolate variety features dry roasted peanuts and whey protein, plus isolate, soy lecithin, sugar, vegetable fat, cocoa butter, soy flour, safflower oil and vanilla. The blueberry crumble variety is made from dry roasted almonds and whey protein, plus soy lecithin, sugar, vegetable fat, cocoa butter, soy flour, dried blueberries, safflower oil, vanilla and natural blueberry flavor.
The protein butters join a growing lineup of ready-to-eat meals, sides, snacks and clean seasonings, all of which are designed to make healthy eating more accessible and affordable, said Todd Abrams, co-founder and chief executive officer of ICON Meals.
