NELSONVILLE, OHIO — Milo’s Whole World Gourmet, LLC, a manufacturer of branded and private specialty foods, will invest $1 million to build a new 2,100-square-foot production facility in Ohio.

The new facility will feature upgraded machinery, multiple large kettles and other equipment and technology upgrades to enable fast, safe and consistent production. The facility also will feature a connected product development/quality control lab, where the company will work on recipes for commercial production.

“We have been experiencing exponential growth,” said Jonathon Milo Leal, founder and owner. “This new facility will allow us to turbo-charge our growth and take on larger customers that we haven’t had the capacity to handle to date.”

The new facility is expected to be open by the spring of 2022.

Founded in 2003, Milo’s has grown from 3 pasta sauces to a portfolio of more than 40 specialty food products across seven product categories, ranging from barbecue sauce to mustard to salad dressings, sold under three brands: Vino de Milo, JB’s Best Sauces and Brownwood Farms. Its products are sold across the United States, Canada, Colombia and Puerto Rico.
