NEW YORK – Enlightened’s line of frozen miniature cheesecakes now includes Greek yogurt options.

The brand announced the launch of its Greek Yogurt Cheesecakes in two flavors: original and Dark Chocolate. The desserts have a graham cracker crust base and a dollop of whipped cream on top. Per Enlightened, compared to a serving of traditional cheesecakes, these varieties have up to 50% less sugar.

"We're so excited to build upon our existing cheesecake line with the addition of Greek yogurt, a key ingredient also included in two of our new Sundae Cone flavors," Enlightened chief executive officer and founder Michael Shoretz said. "Consumers love Greek yogurt for its protein and probiotics. We found that incorporating Greek yogurt adds richness and creaminess to our cheesecakes, and we think it'll delight our fans."

The low sugar dessert brand’s mini cheesecakes first debuted in 2020. The new Greek Yogurt Cheesecakes are available at grocery stores such as Lowes Foods, United Supermarkets, Food City and HEB, as well as on the company’s website. One box includes two mini cheesecakes, with a suggested retail price of $5.99.

Enlightened is the first and largest of the brands operated by New York-based Beyond Better Foods.
