ATLANTA — Beverage company Bollygood has launched its take on nimbu pani, a popular South Indian lemon-based summer drink.
The sparkling beverage is a low-sugar alternative and is debuting in time for the summer season.
Founder and owner Maxine Henderson, who spent her summers visiting her grandparents in India, created her take on nimbu pani after noticing a lack of representation of Indian beverages at supermarkets. The product is available in two varieties: lemon ginger mint and lime basil cumin. The produce has a suggested retail price of $29.99 for a 12-pack. Bollygood’s beverage may be purchased direct-to-consumer at bollygood.com or via Amazon.
