FERNDALE, WASH. — Moon Cheese is expanding its cheese-based snack line with the introduction of Crunchy Cheese Sticks.

The new shelf-stable cheese stick snack is made from 100% cheese, containing about 14 to 15 grams of protein per serving, and are gluten-free and keto-friendly.

Crunch Cheese Sticks are available in five flavors: cheesy does it, wild white chedda’, kick it up a nacho, rowdy ranch and yum inferno.

“Cheese stick snacks have been loved by consumers for decades, and now we have a nutritionally better option for everyone to enjoy,” said Brad Lahrman, chief executive officer of NutraDried Food Co., which owns the Moon Cheese trademark. “Moon Cheese Crunchy Cheese Sticks meet the strict brand standard of our cheese snacks, which means made with 100% real cheese, packed with protein, and low in carbs and sugar. We can't wait for consumers to find their favorite flavor.”

The new products are available at Whole Foods Market locations with a suggested retail price of $4.99 and direct-to-consumer availability coming later this summer.
