KANSAS CITY — Berry flavors are cropping up in new seasonal offerings.

Krispy Kreme’s new Pick of the Patch collection includes four berry-inspired donuts. The mixed berry cobbler donut has mixed berry cobbler filling, shortbread crumbles and brown sugar icing with a dusting of powdered sugar. The blueberry cheesecake donut has blueberry cheesecake filling, blueberry icing and shortbread crumbles. The strawberry shortcake donut is a glazed sour cream cake donut dipped in strawberry filling and topped with shortbread crumbles, a vanilla buttercream swirl and a strawberry drizzle. The mixed berry glazed donut features a mixed berry glaze.

“We were inspired by farmer’s markets, fruit stands and berry patches when we created our new Pick of the Patch donuts,” said Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme. “These donuts are fresh off the line and will make your summer sweeter.”

Taco Bell in partnership with PepsiCo, Inc. is introducing Brisk Dragon Paradise sparkling iced tea, featuring tropical dragon fruit, raspberry and blackberry flavors with a hibiscus tea base. 

Wendy’s seasonal menu features a strawberry-flavored Frosty frozen treat and a summer strawberry chicken salad, with applewood smoked bacon, grilled chicken, an Italian cheese blend, candied almonds and a champagne vinaigrette.
