ATLANTA — The Coca-Cola Co. has unveiled several leadership changes as part of its new global operating structure. The changes will take effect on Jan. 1, 2013.

In North America, J. Alexander “Sandy” Douglas Jr., currently president of Coca-Cola North America, will be named global chief customer officer. He also will continue to lead the North America franchise strategy.
Katie Bayne, president of North America Sparkling Beverages, will become president of North America Brands. She will be responsible for strategic marketing, sparkling beverages, glaceau, Minute Maid juices, coffee, tea and water, diversity business development and Latin affairs in the United States.

Brian Kelley, chief product supply officer for Coca-Cola Refreshments, will become president and chief operating officer for Coca-Cola Refreshments. In his new role, Mr. Kelley will have responsibility for all food service, regional sales, product supply, customer care, customer retail and commercial operations in the United States.
