NEW YORK — RIND Snacks, Inc., a maker of skin-on dried fruit snacks, announced it has partnered with Thrive Market to launch a limited-time offering: peach chips.

The new RIND peach chips feature single-ingredient California peaches and no added sugars or preservatives. Each 3-oz bag of RIND peach chips contains healthy sources of vitamins A and C, as well as 9 grams of fiber per bag and only 100 calories per serving, according to RIND. The chips are naturally vegan, gluten-free, kosher certified and non-GMO verified.

“The time was ripe for a bolder, fresher take on fruit snacking — one that is better aligned with consumers' preferences for pure, whole fruit with big, bright flavor,” said Matt Weiss, founder and chief executive officer of RIND. “The idea of taking one of the most beloved staples of summer, like yellow peaches, and creating a tangy, thin-cut chip was there for the picking. We're thrilled to be partnering with the online leader in sustainable, healthy and affordable shopping, Thrive Market, for our first-ever exclusive launch.”

Founded in 2018, RIND offers a range of dried fruits featuring the peel, which typically packs more vitamins, antioxidants and fiber than the flesh. The company claims to use a gentle dehydration process and no additives.

Last year, RINDcloseda $6.1 million Series A capital financing round led by Valor Siren Ventures, a division of Valor Equity Partners, and including a follow-on investment from Melitas Ventures. The funding was to be used to accelerate new product development, support national retail and online distribution, and expand the team with key hires in sales, operations and marketing.
