LOS ANGELES — Mindright, a maker of “good mood superfood” snack bars, is launching a line of nootropic-infused popped chips. The never-fried snacks feature the brand’s signature brain-boosting formula and are available in chili lime, cinnamon churro and turmeric ranch varieties.

The chips deliver a crunchy, crispy texture and are grain-free, gluten-free and low in sugar. They are vegan friendly and made without preservatives, artificial colors, dyes or flavorings.

“They are made with 100% lab-tested avocado oil, which is an ideal oil for a packaged product,” said Kayla Barnes, brain health adviser at Mindright. “In addition to having clean ingredients, the chips also provide brain benefits. They contain lion’s mane, which can improve focus, boost memory and support brain aging; ginseng, which is known to enhance energy and boost mood; L-Theanine for improving focus, attention and mental clarity; vitamin B6 for mood support; and vitamin B12 for energy.”

The functional chips are available on Amazon for $4.99 per bag.

Founded by CPG veteran Chris Bernard and television personality Rob Dyrdek, Mindright launched last year with a line of plant-based protein bars that are low in sugar, high in fiber and infused with functional ingredients, including ashwagandha, cordyceps and ginseng.
