PARAMOUNT, CALIF. — Better-for-you food company Tattooed Chef continues to innovate within the plant-based food sphere, recently expanding its portfolio with new introductions.
Over the past year, Tattooed Chef, which offers pre-made and plant-based entrees has been expanding its product distribution, as the company’s sales continue to climb. In October 2021, Tattooed Chef began distributing products at some Publix Super Market locations. Recently, the company widened its distribution further after entering into an agreement with Walmart Inc., which now carries Tattooed Chef products nationwide.
The company also acquired assets from the Desert Premium Group, including an 80,000-square-foot facility for roughly $10 million. Management anticipates profiting from the manufacturing facility by the start of 2023, according to the company.
As Tattooed Chef continues to grow, the better-for-you plant-based company’s recent innovations — in categories ranging from pasta dishes to burrito bowls — show no signs of slowing soon.
