TORONTO — Plant-based brand LOVO is launching a line of vegan and gluten-free milk chocolate bars, which are formulated with a variety of plant-based milks.

The line features four milk chocolate bar varieties, each made with a different plant-based milk, including almond milk, coconut milk, hazelnut milk and oat milk. Co-founders and chocolatiers Simon Lester and Courtenay Vuchnich, who are also husband and wife, worked on the formulation for the chocolate bars for six years, according to the company.

The bars are formulated with non-GMO ingredients and are available in a 4-pack for a suggested retail price of $19.96, or in a 12-pack. They are packaged in fully recyclable wrappers and foil, and are Rainforest Alliance-certified, according to the company.
