Food Entrepreneur FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — Odyssey Wellness, the maker of Odyssey Elixir sparkling energy drinks, has completed a $6.3 million Series A capital raise, which brings the startup’s total funding to $8.3 million.

The brand’s canned beverages are formulated with lion’s mane and cordyceps mushrooms, plus green tea caffeine, L-theanine and panax ginseng. Offerings include passion fruit, orange and guava; blackberry lemon; orange ginger; and dragon fruit lemonade.

The new funding will help accelerate the brand’s growth across all distribution channels, according to the company. Products currently are available in more than 5,000 retail locations, including natural, conventional and convenience stores, as well as bars, restaurants, hotels and music festivals.

“We appreciate the infusion of capital and trust from our investors who bring incredible expertise and will be valuable strategic partners as we continue to build this brand,” said Scott Frohman, founder and chief executive officer of Odyssey Wellness. “We believe Odyssey is just beginning to seize the opportunity in front of us as a differentiator in the category that will propel our growth.”
