CARROLLTON, TEXAS. — Culinary solutions supplier Illes Foods has named Elsy Ocejo vice president of supply chain, the first in the company’s 100-year history.

Most recently director of supply chain strategy for Bimbo Bakeries USA, Ms. Ocejo adds 20 years of supply chain management to Illes’ executive team. She will lead efforts to develop and strengthen the company’s supply chain and coordinate supply initiatives across departments.

“Elsy is joining Illes Foods at a pivotal moment, as we continue to grow, establish new partnerships and navigate one of the most challenging supply chain environments in decades,” said Cristin Illes Kahale, chief executive officer of Illes. “She has the extensive experience and strategic thinking to ensure we keep our supply chain healthy and sustainable and, ultimately, support our customers’ initiatives and success.”

Ms. Ocejo’s other leadership experience includes director of supply chain services for Bimbo Bakeries and senior manager of global logistics for Brunswick Boat Group.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Tec de Monterrey and a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University.
