Food Entrepreneur CHICAGO — The Emerging Brands Alliance is accepting applications for its 2023 grant program. The group will award one $50,000 grant to help a high-growth consumer products company buy packaging or processing machinery for its manufacturing facility or a co-manufacturer’s facility.

Last year, the Emerging Brands Alliance distributed $60,000 in grant funding to three startups. Yishi, Pescavore and Sarilla were selected from more than 460 applicants by a jury of industry professionals, based on product innovation, brand story and growth potential.

The 2023 grant award winner will be named at the Emerging Brands Summit in Las Vegas on Sept. 10. Eligible brands must produce and distribute a packaged consumer product in the United States or Canada and have annual revenues of $1 million to $20 million.

“We are very pleased to be able to offer a grant of this size and unique nature, and we hope the impact will be quite meaningful to the winner’s ability to grow their operations,” said Kim Overstreet, director of Emerging Brands Alliance, a platform offering community support and growth opportunities to early-stage businesses. “Our mission is to provide resources to help growing CPGs scale their operations, and this is a terrific way to make an impact.”

Brand owners may apply at emergingbrandsalliance.org/grants through July 31. Finalists will be notified on Aug. 7.
