NORTH BRUNSWICK TOWNSHIP, NJ. — Doehler and Ixora Scientific are partnering to identify and commercialize natural taste modulars derived from botanicals.

Doehler will act as Ixora’s research partner under the agreement.

“We are excited to partner with Ixora to drive innovation in the food and beverage industry, leveraging their expertise in natural taste modulators,” said Paul Graham, chief executive officer of Cluster Americas at Doehler.

Ixora Scientific is a San Diego-based startup, which focuses on the research and development of novel taste modulators. The company uses plants as its starting material for modulators.

“As a fresh startup company, we are grateful for the partnership with Doehler,” said Xiaodong Li, co-founder and chief executive officer of Ixora. “This will allow us to tap into their vast resources and expertise in flavor creation, application, and commercialization, while we focus on what we do best, which is research and discovery. It’s a win-win situation.”

In addition, Doehler will be establishing a technical office and lab in North Brunswick, which will be Ixora’s East Coast collaboration hub.
