AUSTIN, TEXAS — GoodPop, a maker of better-for-you frozen desserts, is branching into the beverage category with the launch of GoodPop Mini Cans.

The fruit juice and sparkling water-infused drinks are aimed at parents seeking healthier drinking options for their children, offering flavors like fruit punch, lemon lime and orange. Each 7.5-oz can contains 35 or fewer calories, no more than 6 grams of sugar and zero added flavors, sugars or sweeteners.

“Here at GoodPop we're enabling families to make better and healthier choices by cleaning up and innovating in categories that typically have lots of sugar — from ice cream and freezer pops to now beverages,” said Daniel Goetz, chief executive officer and founder. “Not only do our Mini Cans have much less sugar than the juice boxes and sodas we’re used to seeing in lunch boxes and coolers, we’re proud that they are more sustainable by coming in a recyclable can format.”

GoodPop’s beverages are now available in single-flavor 6-count packages and variety 18-count packages, at a retail price of $7.49 and $14.99, respectively, in Sprouts Farmers Market locations nationwide. The drinks also are stocked in select Costco stores in the southern United States and Whole Foods Market stores across the Northeast and Midwest.
