CHICAGO — Edlong Dairy Flavors is now Edlong Dairy Technologies. The company introduced the new company name and logo during the Institute of Food Technologists annual meeting and food expo, held July 13-16.

“Our new name positions us for growth in food ingredient technologies but remains true to our core competency in dairy,” said Laurette Rondenet-Smith, president and chief executive officer. “It defines Edlong as more than flavors, helps us further differentiate our products and shows our commitment to investing in solutions that best serve our customers.”

The company has expertise in fermentation and enzyme dairy-derived technologies that offer customers finished product performance, said Ms. Rondenet-Smith. Edlong Dairy Technologies also may offer dairy flavors that are natural, allergen-free, non-bioengineered and organic.
