CALABASAS, CALIF. — Health Nut is debuting a line of salad dressings for retail.
The California-based restaurant chain developed the offerings for consumers seeking gluten-free, non-GMO options. Each product contains less than 145 calories, 16 grams of fat and 5 grams of sugar per serving. Flavor varieties include original house, an Italian-like dressing made with apple cider vinegar, dried garlic, bell pepper and sea salt; spicy Asian, containing paprika, dried ginger and sesame seeds; sesame, featuring tamari soy sauce; and ranch.
The product line is currently rolling out into refrigerated aisles at grocery stores and mass retailers across the United States, with a suggested retail price between $4.98 and $5.49 per 12-oz container.
