PLANO, TEXAS – PepsiCo, Inc., through its Frito-Lay North America unit, has debuted a global flavors lineup for its Lay’s brand, including Wavy Tzatziki, Masala and honey butter. The line was inspired by Greece, India and Korea, according to the company.

Lay’s Wavy Tzatziki potato chips were inspired by such Greek flavors as yogurt, lemon, dill and garlic, offering a Mediterranean classic chip.

Lay’s Masala features spices ranging from cumin, coriander, turmeric and pepper representing traditional Masala dishes, according to the company.

Lay’s honey butter offers a blend of buttermilk honey and butter flavors, which was inspired by a popular Korean combination, according to the company.

“Our fans often post about the fun flavors they see while traveling abroad and continuously ask for them here,” said Tina Mahal, senior vice president of marketing at PepsiCo Foods North America. “Now, at the height of travel season, we’re excited to make those dreams a reality and bring them adventure through every bite of our global flavors lineup.”

The flavors will be on shelves nationwide this month for a limited time, according to the company.
